An exhibition of objects and words compiled and curated by artist Ruth Miemczyk.
The exhibition speaks of the way Polish culture became an integral part of family life through personal stories and reminiscences from the daughters of Polish soldiers.
Soldiers who had been housed in Polish Resettlement Camps in the UK at the end of WW2 and in particular, the Camp at Cawthorne.

Even when there museum is closed for the season, there's plenty going on with regular lectures held in the Parish Room.
Lectures are generally held on a Monday evening at 19:30, and cost £2 (including refreshments).
There are exhibits of domestic bygones, Victoriana, memorabilia, natural history, local history and local industries. There is also a collection of unusual items including a two headed lamb, a cobra in combat with a mongoose, a mantrap, an intestinal stone from a horse weighing 9 pounds, a boy’s boot wrecked when struck by lightning and there is so much more to see.
